A sustainable & family friendly way of life

Bikes - how to get around

We are rather keen on our bikes at Seabrook Orchards. So much so that we want everyone to join us. We will pay up to £100 towards buying a new bicycle or cycle equipment for the first owners of each new dwelling.

We’ll also be holding a number of bike focussed events at Seabrook Orchards to help with riding safely and any maintenance issue you might have - check out the NEWS items for latest updates on events.

    NEWS & EVENTS

So why the bike-fest? Well, cycling is easy, thanks to the city’s wide network of cycle routes. It’s fast - travelling by bike can be twice as quick as driving in Exeter’s rush hour.

It’s fun too - you can cycle with friends, with your kids for a family day out or just take in the city’s historic views.

But I haven’t been on a bike in years!

Even if you’re a bit out of practice or have never ridden a bike before, that’s no problem. Devon County Council has a range of courses to help you brush up on the basics, or learn to ride from scratch. It’s not just for kids, either – there are lots of courses designed just for adults, check Cycle Devon’s website link below for details.

    Co-Bikes - prefer to hire?

Unfortunately Co Cars & Co Bikes have ceased trading since the summer of 2023.  This now resides with Exeter City Council and Devon County Council who are looking to secure a replacement operator.
